You might want to check back here in about three weeks. We are leaving Saturday for California. We will board a cruise ship in L.A. and won't be back for two weeks. I'll take a few pictures.
This neat little Morris 1000 station waggon is a real woody. Made in England in the 50's, these cars have become very popular with collectors. With a small engine and good gas mileage, you can haul your stuff around cheap. This one was spotted on Nantucket, an island south of Cape Cod.
These pictures show three of my scooters that I took to the Southeastern Cushman Club fall meet at Hiawassee, Georgia. The inside picture was taken in a storage building where they let us lock scooters up over night. They also hold the scooter show in there, but I didn't enter anything this year.
In the bottom picture, front to rear, my 1947 Cushman model 52, my 1953 Allstate (made by Cushman), and my 1963 Super Silver Eagle.
This blog is for aimless ramblings about vintage motor scooters, travel, and how to survive retirement. You may see other subjects here, because there are lots of stories back there in the cobwebs of my brain.
