Vespa racing 1951
I found the 1951 picture on Flickr. I guess it was made in Italy. The numbers suggest that there was some kind of race or rally going on.

The race was the "Gran Circuito Turistico del Sestriere" held from 1947 to 1953. My club has re-launched the event . Visit www.grancircuitodelsestriere.it. More old pics on my other site www.ilvespino.it. The car in the background was a Fiat 500C Giardiniera, or Topolino, in its Station Wagon(!) version.
